I've been seeing Dr. Scharer for a few years to help deal with my sinuses and allergies. After a while of medicine based options were tried, he did some imaging studies and found out that between my extremely deviated septum, a large bone spur and some sinus ducts that were not anywhere near optimal he scheduled me for surgery to repair all of that. The experience with Baptist main's surgery center we excellent; I don't know how I could have had a better process. Dr. Scharer performed my surgery and I was discharged the same day. Even with the swelling post op, there was a very noticeable different in the amount of air I could move through my nose. Dr. Scharer has done a very good job communicating everything along the way, with how the procedure would go, what to expect during recovery, etc... Highly recommended if you need to see an otolaryngologist, you should reach out to Dr. Scharer.
