This was my first visit to Dr McGovern. While I am accustomed to waiting a while before being seen by a doctor, this was beyond normal. More than 45 minutes after I was taken to a room by the nurse, and an hour and a half past my appointment time, a tech came in to take me for an xray. It was close to two hours (total) before I saw the doctor.Now, Dr McGovern was great once I saw him. He listened to my concerns, answered the questions I had, and gave me several options (with pros and cons) for treatment. He seemed sincerely interested about my concerns, and how we should proceed to address them, trying option #1 to see if that helps before seeing if the other options are needed.Even though I had filled out all my info online several days in advance, when I did my e-checkin the day before my appt, I was asked to answer several of the questions I had already answered, some of them re-asked more than once.All-in-all, I liked Dr McGovern, but had a less-than-satisfactory experience.
