When I went for my second COVID vaccination, I was waiting for the nurse to show me to the room where I would receive the vaccine. Apparently, there was some sort of hold up. I was pleasantly surprised to see the CMO, Dr. Lloyd, come up and say "come with me. I have vaccines in my room". He was most gracious and congenial to my wife and I. His willingness to get out of his office and into the thick of the action really impressed us. The operation his team developed at Harris Methodist for COVID vaccinations is one of the best and most efficient I have heard of. You signup on the Tarrant County registration, When they call or e-mail you, you have your appointment spelled out spelled out and you arrive no more than 15 minutes early. You are typically called to enter no more than 5-10 minutes after your appointment time, and proceed to confirm your registration, an proceed to a line gives you your vaccination card and on to receive the shot. .
