I was assigned to Dr. Ditch by a new insurance after being hospitalized for a nearly fatal infection. Normally when assigned a doctor from an insurance, those doctors are usually not very knowledgeable and or don’t seem to care too much. Also, since I have a very, VERY complicated medical history, I have usually in the past, had to change doctors almost immediately after seeing the assigned doctor for the first time. After seeing Dr. Ditch for the first time post hospitalization, however, I discovered he is very organized, listened to, and addressed every concern. I have also found him to be EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and given my history, that is indeed a very rare thing to find. I have been seeing him since May and He continues to help me along my recovery, seeing me anytime I need. While Optum itself often times leaves much to be desired, Dr. Ditch has been and will continue to be a very good primary care doctor for me.
