If you're reading this, there is a chance that you're in the same shoes that we were - facing an unexpected surgery for your child and trying to understand if they're in good hands. As Dr. McEvoy may have told you, each surgery is different and outcomes are never guaranteed. All I can say is that he took the time to answer all our questions, put our minds at ease, and walked us through the surgery and what to expect. He has a direct manner and helped us understand what was happening and the risks involved. Choosing a neurosurgeon for your child is a big decision and one that shouldn't be taken lightly and one review shouldn't make a difference in your decision either way. With that said - I highly respect Dr. McEvoy and his work and completely appreciated his willingness to spend time with us and answer our questions - no matter what they were. He kept us informed, cared about our son, and was a superb surgeon for my son.
