My experience with Dr. Belkin was one of care - from the heart. He is truly interested in what is going on with the whole person. Most psychiatrists in my experience are focussed on the drugs and their outcome - your reaction. Dr. Belkin asked questions about the whole being. Your relationships. Your challenges. Your background. He asked questions that are those of a therapist. In my view, how can you treat one without knowing the other and Dr. Belkin does this. He genuinly cared about the person - the past, present and future. Truly wants to help and support the entire life experience. It's not about the next prescription. Gave time! Didnt rush and let me know when he would have to go. He is a lovely person. A refreshing doctor with a human approach.
