I have been a patient here for 6 years for chronic neck and back pain. I have had and average of 3 epidural steroid injections a year. The results have generally been excellent. All have given some relief. Most have helped a lot, with 50 percent or more improvement.I'd previously had 7 surgeries,(and likely will have more) but Dr. Alvarado's skills have definitely put off at least one lumbar surgery for 5 years. I generally schedule physical therapy a few weeks after I see him. The injections make the exercises easier to do. I see a lot of bad comments about the staff. There has been a noticeable improvement over the last several years for sure. Scheduling is easy now. I have been of opioids the whole time. There are no problem with refills. I wonder about the people who complain they have to give urine samples periodically. Every 3 months seems reasonable to me with the government requirements. NPs Jeff Dickerson and Kaitlyn do a great job as well. I highly recommend this practice.
