Patient Reviews
Nov 22, 2023
My young adult son has been patient of Dr. Tuwiner for around 2 years. Dr. Tuwiner listened to his symptoms, properly diagnosed two separate conditions ... referred one to another specialist, and has been treating the other. After reading some of the other reviews that mention things like scheduling, phone calls, etc. ... I will admit that sometimes I have to leave a message or follow-up. BUT (big but) this is a small office. There aren't half a dozen doctors with an army of front office, nursing and tech staff. His staff remember me and my son, even though we now only go every 6 months. They go out of the way to help us with filling prescriptions when insurance has been challenging, or the manufacturer had delays. And he listened to how medication was helping, changing and trying things until we hit on something that WORKS. His manner may appear rushed - but he has always been willing to answer every question - just have to be prepared to ask them. 10 out of 10 recommend Dr. Tuwiner.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
