I have been suffering with leg pain for at least a year now, but the issue of my PAD (Peripheral Artery Disease) has been developing much longer. I was experiencing the classic symptoms not being able to walk short distances without calf pain that would resolve at rest. This condition was getting worst quickly and dramatically affecting my quality of life. When talking to my podiatrist he suggested I get evaluated by a vascular doctor. This is where I became involved with United Vein & Vascular Centers in Lake Worth. From my first visit, the vascular doctor spent 45 minutes discussing my condition and counselled me what I need to do for future prevention. My second visit involved an extensive evaluation to determine the extent and severity of my PAD condition. The entire staff could not have been more pleasant and attentive.
