I had a liver biopsy that accidentally caused internal bleeding that was nothing short of torturous. None of the doctors in the hospital during my 4- day stay explained it thoroughly. I went to Dr. Patterson, and she gave me a thorough physical exam. She explained the most likely causes of my continuing pain and what kind of healing was needed. She used images of internal organs to make it clear. She is brilliant and sensitive. I am so grateful to her and feel much more in control of my healing after our visit.
