Patient Reviews
May 27, 2024
Dr. Varadarajulu explained everything before and after the procedure. Acute and chronic pancreatitis made it difficult to see what was going on. Dr. V called me personally and told me he needed to repeat the endoscopic ultrasound in two weeks and to follow a low fat diet in the meantime to rest my pancreas. When I went back for the second EUS, he took many biopsies to assure getting an accurate diagnosis. Thanks to Dr. V’s clear diagnosis, my network model HMO plan quickly authorized my followup with a surgeon and an oncologist Dr. V answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly. He never rushed me and showed compassion. And I received followup phone calls from his office after both procedures to see how I was doing.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
