Over the past few years I ended up under the care of Dr. Parupudi for pancreas issues that were not improving because I refused to change my lifestyle. The majority of doctors were understandably beginning to look at me like a lost cause. Things got worse before they improved and I was given more chances than I deserved. Through it all Dr. Parupudi displayed an amount of kindness, confidence, skill, humanity and knowledge of his field that I am still trying to fully appreciate. A doctor that genuinely wants the best for his patients and in my case always provided me and my family with the proper perspective and resolve in situations (without judgement or talking down at me). The best doctor I have ever had and I am very thankful that he spent the time to help me realize that there were only so many times that they could repair what I was damaging before I had to make the decision to start living and stop dying myself.
