Dr. Yap is one of the greatest doctors that I have ever seen and he saved my father’s live! My dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer in early 2023 and he was already in the middle stage (i.e. T2 - the tumour has grown into the muscle). That was a devastated news to my whole family as my dad was always very healthy and this news even caused my mother’s mental problem. Dr. Yap calmed us down and explained very well on all treatment solutions. There was a risk of doing the bladder removal and we believe in Dr. Yap’s professional judgements. My dad did the chemo treatment first and then Dr. Yap did the bladder removal surgery in late 2023. We’re so lucky to have the opportunity to meet Dr. Yap, recommended by the Hospital, and this greatest doctor in Urology saved my dad’s life. Words cannot express our family’s gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Yap for giving my dad a second life!Son of the patient (W.L. GUAN) @ NYG Hospital
