As I have fought through the disease of Cancer the past 3 years I have been able to handle most of it, but the pain took away my will to live. In addition the fear of opiate addiction bouncing around in the media had my head spinning and turning down medications that would relieve the pain and make my life tolerable. When I walked into her office I wanted to give up. Having hand-foot syndrome combined with intense abdominal pain I could not tolerate. She listened and then she did her magic.
