I recently broke my ankle hiking on late Friday afternoon. I arrived at the ER in mild shock and considerable pain. My care was flawless from the orderly who picked me up in a wheelchair at the curb to Malena at the desk, the nurses (Pam) in admitting and XRay (Kimberlee, and Jessica), and Robert who made sure I knew how to use the crutches and wouldn't hurt myself doing so. A double thanks to Dr Stephen Bretz who not only showed me and explained my injury, but he took the time to make sure I understood and knew what steps to take after leaving the ER. Dr Bretz called me a few days later to check on my condition, make sure I was following directions for care, and offered to help. This is fabulous care! While it is my first experience, my family has been to this ER. Care has always been at this level of quality. Because of this, this ER is our Go-To for emergencies. A big "thank you" to Dr Bretz and the Swedish team.
