Love Dr Van Wylen! He's been my surgeon/dr since 2001. I had lost my voice for 6 months and everything I ate burned he diagnosed my GERD and did my 2 surgeries. I was also born with issues with my esophagus closing-spasms all the time and Dr Van Wylen took care of me. I just found out he retired and this makes me very sad! Will never find a better or nicer doctor!!! I moved over an hour north from his office and no dr would help me BUT Dr Van Wylen was always there for me & helped me many times!
