in 1914-95 my mother was fighting terminal cancer and Dr Speckart was instrumental in her care in the final few months of her life. He ministered not only medical advice and treatment but he also ministered to our emotional needs as we faced her passing over a final months period. He stayed with us as her doctor so at no time did we feel left alone with no support. He honored her final decisions to withhold future treatments and guided us through her final time. She passed peacefully and we (her family) felt blessed to have been able to have had such a doctor providing medical and emotional care not only for our mother but also for her family.
