Patient Reviews
Jul 30, 2021
Dr. Thom is a doctor’s doctor, along with his professional staff at Eye Consultants of North Dakota and The Center for Special Surgery of Fargo. He spent ample time carefully walking me through a detailed and nuanced understanding of the risks, benefits and alternatives to the procedure itself - intraocular implant options for my cataracts. The surgical and post-op outcomes in both eyes met (and even exceeded) my expectations. From the first visit to the last post-op visit, his staff were kind, warm, helpful and patient-focused. I heartily recommend Dr. Thom and his staff to my own family and friends. Kenneth J. Fischer, M.D.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
