Patient Reviews

Doctors are uncommon people; they're smart, they care and they work hard. Surgeons do all that and then some: they have lives in their hands every day. Make one mistake in 100 patients and you are in big trouble. Steven Gross is an uncommon surgeon. He operated on me (three hernias) and he is consulting with my wife (abdominal issues). This is a no-baloney guy; he inquires, he listens , he asks more, he consults, he advises, and he makes a plan. Then he summarizes all that for every patient (and for his own notes, I'm sure). Competence and caring (you are a lot like my mom). Eight detailed pages for our last visit.I admire these folks; professionals who put their clients first. We need more of them.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
