Patient Reviews

In July 1991 I saw Dr Cox because of pain in my lower abdominal area & my family Dr had referred me. He took one look at me and immediately got on the phone and called the hospital & told them I was coming for emergency surgery. As it turned out, my gall bladder had exploded resulting in a large infected mass on my liver, a collapsed lung, and I had peritonitis. When I came out of surgery he told my wife he wasn’t sure i would make it. Obviously, I did. That has been 32 years ago and I was reminded of it recently when another surgeon who is getting ready to do surgery on me commented about my scar & asked what it was. Thank you Dr Cox for saving my life.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
