I entered Holy Cross Hospital emergency on August 16, 2024. I was immediately rushed for a CT Scan. Dr. Slikker came to speak with me within minutes. When he told me I would be in surgery within the hour, I realized I had a serious condition. He had a calm and reassuring manner. I was in the hospital for nine days. He visited me each day. He always took the time to evaluate my progress. As well as listen to my concerns. Under the circumstances of the emergency, I had no time to search for a surgeon. I feel blessed that Dr. Slikker was my assigned surgeon. Thank you for saving my life Dr. Slikker.
