I first came to Monmouth Cardiology in early 2018. Previously, I’d been under the care of another cardiologist in another group for seven or eight years. I was hospitalized with the flu and pneumonia in January, 2018. During my stay, I was taking my two blood pressure medications that my previous doctor had me taking; however, my BP was somewhat unregulated. After my discharge, I saw the previous cardiologist and told him I needed a third BP medication because my BP was unregulated. Despite the fact that I was keeping a BP log, as long as my BP was okay in his office, he refused to give me another BP medication. That’s when I was referred to Dr Daniels. He believed me when I said my BP was unregulated. He saw my BP log, and proscribed the additional medication. I took it for about two months, until my BP was regulated again. Then, he had me stop that medication. He respected my opinion, and acted accordingly. He’s worth his weight in gold!!
