Dr. Magness did an emergency bowl obstruction surgery on my mother, who is morbidly obese. He was very straightforward and to the point. During the follow up visit - 3 weeks later, he took the time to answer any and all of the onslaught of questions we had. More importantly, he steered us in the right direction for election of bariatric surgery. We were not rushed in and out (which seems to be social norm nowadays). He is not only a very confident surgeon, but also a thorough one.
