It had been a challenge to find a psychiatrist that my son felt comfortable with as he has felt rushed and unheard during appointments with previous providers. However, during the initial session with Dr. Sokoll, my son immediately felt at ease. Dr. Sokoll took his time in getting to know my son and his challenges. My son said he "finally felt heard" from a doctor and as a parent, that is really important. Dr. Sokoll explained his recommendations and treated us with respect and kindness. He answered all of our questions and concerns and was patient in doing so. My son began to trust Dr. Sokoll and follow what was suggested. As a result, my son's quality of life has significantly improved and his symptoms are finally being managed. I feel so fortunate that my family found such an exceptional provider.
