This was a follow-up appointment. I'm a 70 yo male and had a total knee replacement by Dr Mattheos on Oct 29. The procedure went flawlessly from what I know. I did what Dr Mattheos said after the surgery and the final recovery was quick. I was walking crutch free within 10 days, doing an elliptical a week or two later. I followed the physical therapy home and external programs and was released after only 8 weeks. I'm 14 weeks out now and can do what I want PAIN FREE. Taking 2-3 mile walks is not a problem. I started light jogging and swimming on the 14th week. I am TOTALLY SATISFIED. His bedside(and office demeanor) is great, he tells it straight regarding the procedure, the pain and recovery process. Would reccomend him in a heartbeat. I can't thank him enough for how I currently feel.
