My first visit with Dr. Orshan was back in 2022. He diagnosed me with COPD. He saw me on a regular basis. Back in November of 2023 during a regular visit he saw the results of a CAT scan that had been done when I had a bout of diverticulitis a few months before. In that CAT scan he saw a nodule on my lower right lung. He sent me for a follow up CAT scan, which I asked if we could wait a few months and he said he wasn’t comfortable with that. The new CAT scan showed that the nodule had grown from the previous scan. He ordered a PET scan and after getting the results referred me to a Thoracic surgeon. The nodule was a Stage 1 lung cancer, the lower right lobe was removed and because they were able to remove the entire nodule and lobe I needed neither chemotherapy nor radiation. This is why I credit Dr. Orshan with saving my life. I wholeheartedly recommend him for any pulmonary issue.
