Dr. Steven Sanchez treats the symptoms of the patient and listens to what the patient is experiencing rather than relying solely on tests. There are many patients who are misdiagnosed due to the fact that test results MRI,CT, MRA, etc. do not always show that there is an issue, but the patient can clearly have visible symptoms that go untreated for months or even years simply because doctors don't have a medical test that can determine the cause. More disturbing, is these doctors, rather than treat the symptoms to help the patients as Dr. Sanchez does, refer many patients to mental health therapy and are written off. One of the best answers a neurologist gave me was the answer, 'I don't know, but I will get you to the right doctor.' Dr. Steven Sanchez was the right doctor. For those of you out there with neurological symptoms and no test answers, please advocate for yourself, be persistent and know that the UT Health Science Center is conducting research on Post Covid to help us.
