Patient Reviews
Apr 25, 2023
I went to Westwood Cardiology for a check up, I was given a full blood panel and was asked to go get a Full Contrast CT Scan. I never heard back from anyone in the office for weeks about my results from either test. I called the office a few times asking about my results. I was told someone would get back to me. no one did. Not a Dr., PA, or Nurse. I had to look up on the Patient Portal for my results. But I’m not a doctor and don’t know what it all means. I know they are busy, but I’m not worth a Five minute phone call, to discuss my heart. I have noticed ever since this practice was bought out by Valley Hospital, it is not the same and they are being run like a Corporate Co. not an individual practice. When I called back this last time, I was told they would have only called me back, if something was wrong. I am sorry that does not sit well with me. Where is the patient empathy that they used to have. Dr. Barr is still a great doctor, just wish office was like old days.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
