I have been going to the El Rio Special Immunology Clinic since I was first diagnosed HIV+ in 2003. I have had several doctors in the 20 yrs at the clinic and all were great but without a doubt Dr N has been the BEST! She is thorough and personable and treats me not as a patient but as a person. She is always on top of my bloodwork and explains my results so I clearly understand. She makes sure my HIV status and its impacts are kept in check. She always listens to me and takes my concerns seriously - providing referrals when needed. Her thorough approach led me to an early detection of colon cancer. This early detection saved my life and helped me avoid prolonged treatment! I look forward to my visits with her like I'm visiting a good friend. In short - she takes good care of me and I feel safe knowing she is in my corner.
