This neurologist would have 5 stars if staff was more compassionate. Dr is thorough, extremely intelligent, fielded my hard questions accurately, took her time, and took my requests and suggestions seriously. She’s very experienced. Her medical assistant, however, is very condescending. My entire family is going through unimaginable heartbreak over a serious debilitating, and ultimately fatal diagnosis. It is ironic that the highly educated neurologist “gets it” and speaks to me on my level but her support staff “talks down” to me. To any “support staff” who may see this: I know it’s “annoying” when family needs things. We are losing someone we love with all our hearts. We’re just trying not to lose our livelihood and everything else over this too. We are all adults and can speak to one another with respect and good intentions. Do better.
