Dr. Apkon is a true patient and family advocate who genuinely cares with compassion and empathy. She is highly knowledgeable and helpful in pediatric muscular dystrophy, and works hard to ensure a wholistic multi-specialty approach is given to treatment planning. When you get the hard news, she is the one you will want to help guide you through the journey, as she is truly empathetic in both the tears and the smiles along the way. Highly recommend!
