We had our first visit with Dr. Bankston recently and I’m already incredibly pleased with our choice of pediatrician. Not only was she patient, listened to every new parent concern we have, and extremely kind, but she took into account the unique communication needs for our family. My husband is Deaf so we need an American Sign Language interpreter at our visits. She made sure that my husband was involved in all the conversations and that the interpreter was able to hear everyone in the room when she spoke. She even made an effort to show she was learning sign language to communicate and stressed how important it was to her that he is not left out of conversations. You just can’t ask for a better doctor. We can’t wait to go back to see her.
