In 2014 I experienced a cardiac arrest in the elevator of my condo. My heartbeat was revived on the 2nd AED attempt after 12 minutes of CPR. I arrived at Mt Auburn Hospital in a Glasgow 5 coma. My chances for survival were 5%. I was placed under Dr. Cowley's care in the MICU. For 5 days she worked to save my life and my brain function. She was very supportive of my wife and honest with all my family the whole time. I am forever grateful for the professionalism of Dr. Cowley and her team.
