Dr. Meier was very thorough in determining what was happening. She repeated several lab tests ordered initially by other providers and ordered several new ones. She also did several X-rays and ultrasounds and was able to get the information needed without the expense of MRIs. It was clear that she was trying to not only determine what she thought I likely had but to make sure I didn't have something else in addition or instead of initial suspicions. When I returned for the follow up results, she covered every aspect, answered my questions, and reassured me that treatments were going to be immediately started--she had already started a treatment for the acute concerns. I feel 100% confident in her conclusions and treatment plan. I walked out with hope that this provider was competent, professional, and listening to me. Given the long-term relationship typically needed with specialists, such traits are a must for my level of trust.
