After seeing another doctor who was all about keeping me on meds and insulin the rest of my life, I switched to Dr Varma. Yes, the reviews about the wait time are true but in return I have a doctor who spends at least an hour on my appointment, and calls me to go over my care. I have even received calls from her at 9 pm to go over my care. I now have an A1C of 5.3 and a doctor that I trust with my care. Hard to find in this day and age.
