Patient Reviews
Jan 17, 2025
If you want a doctor that knows his business then this doctor is for you. Excellent neurologist! Yes, his office is busy and yes, there is often a lengthy wait. It is often hard to get through on the phone, but just keep at it. The doctor himself, Dr Shaukat, knows what he is doing. At first, he seems abrupt, But I just think this is due to his busyness and his nature. Yes, he was looking at the computer often while I was talking. But when finished, he did a thorough exam, based on what I had said and the information he found on the computer in my file. He has done two EMG’s and immediately diagnosed my issue. He even recommended combining an EMG into one of my follow ups so I wouldn’t have so many appointments with him. He does all the doctoring himself, there is no PA or nurse to take notes beforehand. I recommend this dr. Just be a patient patient.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
