I had to write a review of my experience with Dr. Theresa Longoria. She and her staff (Kendra) were so kind and reaffirming during a very difficult time. I was referred to her by my primary physician for an enlarged uterus. Unfortunately, it was too large for laparoscopic removal and I would have to have an abdominal hysterectomy. I was also told I would need colon surgery shortly after meeting her. Needless to say, I was terrified as I have always been very active and healthy. Dr. Longoria was so calm and told me she could do a dual surgery with another Scripps Physician Dr. Keith Beiermeister to avoid two separate surgeries. Leading up to the procedure, she was responsive when I had questions and helped to put me at ease. They were able to schedule a date together fairly quickly and did a phenomenal job. They also visited me every day in the hospital to see how I was doing and let me know the pathology report came back with great results. I feel like she went above and beyond putting
