Finding the right psychiatrist can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack, but Dr. Terry Vaughn is that rare gem. From the very first appointment, she created a space that felt safe, validating, and free of judgment. She listens, not just to what you say, but to what is beneath the surface, and she does so with a level of care and presence that’s hard to find in the medical field.Dr. Vaughn does NOT just hand out prescriptions and send you on your way. She takes the time to understand the full picture, your history, your patterns, your struggles, and works with you to find what truly supports your healing. She is very intuitive, compassionate, and deeply committed to her patients well-being.If you have ever felt dismissed, unheard, or like just another name on a chart, Dr. Vaughn will remind you that your struggles matter, that you matter, and that healing is possible. I can not recommend her enough.
