I had 2 orthopedic surgeons tell me that my spinal damage could not be repaired; I would have to live with the pain. A friend who is a retired Post Op nurse referred me to Dr. Manning; he is the only doctor she would trust to operate on anyone she cared about. On my first visit after reviewing my MRI and CT he stated that he could fix my spine. It would be a long surgery and recovery. He was very direct, honest and looked me in eyes when he spoke to me. I like that in a doctor. I had surgery April 16. I have a 14 inch scar, metal in my spine and multiple fusions. Within 24 hours the crippling nerve pain was gone. I'm now 5 months out, pain free, walking 3 miles without stopping, I climb 3 flights of stairs (64 steps) every morning to my office. The fusions are still healing so I have to be careful but I have my life back thanks to Dr. Manning. I will be forever grateful for his knowledge, skills and confidence that allowed him to fix my spine from my pelvis to my T7.

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
