I always had a thin body and a chunky stomach - like women in my family for generations. At the age of 35, I finally came to the conclusion that no amount of diet and exercise was going to rid me of my stomach fat. In fact, it was slowly getting worse. As someone who had zero interest in cosmetic surgery previously, I never knew that liposuction permanently removes fat/fat cells. (I assumed it was temporary and with my genetics, it would just come right back.) I then did lots of research. I ended up at Dr. Zewert's office for liposuction in my abdomen and love handles in early 2021. Dr. Zewert is friendly and knows his stuff! The surgery nurses were so kind! Post-op recovery went smoothly - easier recovery than I thought. Post-op visits have been excellent. I'm just SO thrilled to wear clothes and no longer see/feel self-conscious about bulging stomach rolls! This is the best gift that I've given to myself.
