Outstanding cardiologist whom goes above and beyond basic medical practice. Dr. Pappas is an old school Dr. who displays great concern for his patients, will call at Al different times of the day to check on progress after procedures and very helpful in explaining required medical intervention that is needed. Always available to discuss your treatment follow up and options. A great humanitarian and a credit to catholic health services. I am so Happy that Dr. Pappas is available on Friday’s at Catholic Health Ambulatory Unit in Riverhead, New York. Or weekdays at St. Francis Hospital in Port Washington, New York. ( Feeling Great Thank You, Dr. Pappas)

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
