After going thru at least 6 doctors across the state I ended up settling on Dr. N. We set up ACDF surgery 12-9-24 The Westshore outpatient was 1st class facility and the staff was awesome. I was very nervous of any type of fusion and thought the pain and recovery would be a lot for a 63 yr. old guy. After surgery I went home, my throat was like a sore throat for about 2 days but I never took a single pain pill not even aspirin. It’s been 6 weeks now and things are getting better everyday. Prior to that I had no balance and was on daily pain meds. If you are having any spine issue don’t run around the state like I did. Make an appointment with Dr. Nguyen and feel confident that you will be taken care of and properly treated. Ive never had any surgery in my life and this was a great experience to get my quality of life back. I will write another update at my 3 month mark where I look forward to getting back to golf and tennis.
