My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and 6 months into her cancer treatment at our local cancer center we sought out a second opinion with Dr Avery. After seeing her just once she answered our questions and met our nervousness with a calm and caring demeanor. Dr Avery was always kind and patient at each visit. Her staff never made us feel like our phone calls or emails were a bother to them but instead seemed eager to help in any way. Dr Avery even came to my mother’s bedside in her last days and spent a few extra moments with us. I will forever be grateful for the way she treated and cared for my mother during her cancer journey.
