I went to see Dr. McHenry because I had terrible sciatica and lower back pain for 6 months without relief. Just before the visit, I got relief using a heating pad. I knew this was a temporary fix so I kept my appointment. Dr. McHenry was very pleased that I had found relief from a non surgical option. He explained my back issues and recommended non surgical options to help my situation. He stressed that surgery is an option when all else fails (my words). He also said that he would be able to help me if I failed to find relief in the future. I loved the fact that he was interested in the best treatment for me and utilizing surgery as necessary.
