I'm a little over a week post op being a Living Donor. What an experience! The entire process was very thorough, professional, all of my questions were answered, they changed things around a bit from the usual in order to best work with my schedule. Every time I emailed a question or concern, Diane or Brenda replied immediately! The day if the surgery, I was wheeled into the OR on the stretcher. As I entered the room I saw this big beautiful medical team standing in the room welcoming me. It was such an amazing thing to see! Dr O'Connor and his resident were standing in the front of the group. I saw them every day I was hospitalized. They all had such a warm, confidence about them. They made me feel ??% safe. I had joined a FB support group prior to surgery. I was expecting the second day to be worse than the first, expecting to have gas pains as well as a sore throat from the breathing tube. I had none of those things . It was an amazing experience!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
