I had previously seen two other dermatologists about a constant back itch on my scapula. One of them told me it was a "phantom" itch. Dr. Schmidt took the time to examine the area and then explained how this was most likely a nerve issue and not a skin issue. He did three painless tiny injections and the itch was gone and did not return. One of the few dermatologists that listens and aim to help patients, not dismiss their symptoms without even an exam.
