I've been with Dr. Harris at Raleigh Medical Group for 11 years. I moved away from Raleigh eight years ago but have never switched my primary care because I trust her and it's worth the drive to see her. She is not a "warm and fuzzy" person, but she is kind. She has always demonstrated professionalism and a willingness to ask questions to understand what is going on. My most notable experience with her was about four years ago when I developed a terribly painful nerve issue in my back. I went to a specialist who recommended surgery and did not provide a script for ANY kind of pain relief. I had never experienced pain like that before and haven't since. In desperation, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Harris, hoping for a referral to someone else. She listened. She asked questions and provided a referral and a prescription for a non-narcotic pain medication that turned out to be very effective. I will always be grateful for the fact that she knew what she was doing that day.
