I met him with a lot of medical history and he listened intentionally with my concerns. He validated my concerns and as a person that wasn't always validated due to my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, he walked in ready to discuss everything. I felt heard. He actually took what I know about my own body and let me be in charge. My open abdominal surgery was 3 days ago and I am already at home able to be as comfortable as possible. He told me I had to come back to remove staples, I've never had staples before so I asked him if they'd hurt being removed and he said 'it will pinch and won't be the most comfortable'. I like a honest physician.
