Dr. Demeester saved my life almost 16 years ago. I was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer and Dr. Demeester performed an esophegectomy with colon interposition which was and is a radical surgical approach, but I was a relatively young man of 38 and he felt this procedure would give me the best long term prospects. Dr. Demeester is the most dedicated Doctor I have ever met and he has a wonderful bedside manner which is honestly rare amongst surgeons.
