On March 31, 2023, Dr. Patel saved my life. He performed a very difficult thrombectomy, removing an occlusive blood clot which had become a life-threatening condition. Dr. Patel is not only the best physician in the area of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, but he also communicates effectively with his patients and their families. That is a rare combination. All three of my adult children were present in my hospital room. They had rushed to be with me, and they were scared. I was scared too because risk was high. When Dr. Patel visited me in my room, he was calm and demonstrated with his bedside manner that he truly cares about his patients and their families. His communication skills cannot easily be explained with words. He was precise in explaining the risks, but at the same time confident in guiding my decision-making process. I am grateful to Dr. Patel. I have not felt better in years. I highly recommend Dr. Patel because he is very skilled and also because he cares.
